House!
So we did get our house! Signed and everything. James has been working his ass off for the past few weeks getting it ready for us to move in. There is still a few weeks left of work but he is plugging away, as we speak. He is so amazing, such a hard working man! We are so excited to move in we can hardly contain ourselves. Korbin too :) Jersey, not so much. She's been over a few times while James is working and all she can seem to do is whine about it. Silly dog, she just doesn't realize that there is going to be carpet for her to lay on! I can't wait to put pictures of the final product on here. Soon....

About the House
We are still going for the same house... just a different route. Things are looking good this time around though, we should be closing the deal by October 8th! Then we can start cleaning and remodeling! I can't wait to have a carpeted floor to put Korbin down on, he is going to love it. And Jersey too, being able to lay down anywhere and be comfortable. Right now, if you don't know, we live in an old milk barn with all concrete floors. There is some carpet in our room, but not the kind that you put your baby on. We already have new appliances bought and ready to put in as well, a dishwasher among them! Woo hoo! Korbin will have his own room too... not that he will be in there by himself for awhile anyway, but it will be his space. I am just so excited but I can't be yet... not until everything is signed and we can really call it Ours.

Labor Day

Labor day was just that, my labor day. Korbin James Aaseby was born September 7th 2009! My water broke at 5:30 in the morning and he was born at 9:31. Not the planned birth, of course. He was breech so I had a cesarian section. I got to 4 cm dialated though! He is so amazing, it really doesn't matter how he came into this world, just that he's here. He is a sweet sweet baby, my little champ. He was 19 1/2 inches, 7lbs 10 1/2 ounces, he scored a 9 on his apgar and wrapped his mom and dad around his finger with one look. I never knew how easy motherhood would be for me, but it feels great, and James of course we had no doubt how he would be as a father. It's like we've known him our whole lives. He just fits.
